Abstract:

In the summer of 2003, N.J. Department of Environmental Protectaon discovered some 600 poorly-understood synthetic organic chemicals in various municipal drinking water supplies. The Department is considering a precautionary remedy for this problem, and circulated this paper seeking public comment.
